First time at a Salerno's last week. Great to see something new in town! Had some pizza and beers and enjoyed the environment. The reservation we made was messed up slightly but the staff was very accommodating and made sure we still got a table on time. Turned out not to be a big deal at all. The service was great, can't wait to go back and try some of the burgers. My only issue with the place is that when its busy it is VERY loud, which to be fair was an issue with the last restaurant that occupied that space too.
Very welcomed new restaurant in Western Springs. Pizza is outstanding, staff is great, and the atmosphere is great. Also, had the buffalo chicken salad and it was very good. Lunch specials and daily bar specials are great, They really have done an outstanding job of transforming the place into a restaurant/bar that you want to go back to. They also know how to take care of their customers from my experience. If you want customers to return treat them right and feed them well and Salerno's does this. Sure, they have had some initial start-up pains, but what place doesn't? I've been there multiple times and it's only getting better. Salerno's will help make downtown Western Springs a destination place rather than just a drive through town. Looking forward to my next visit. Keep up the great job!!!
The pizza is good, the service is great, the management is excellent. The bar is fun. I was there on Friday night and there was live entertainment plus all the sports anyone could ask for on the big screens. My problem is the extremely harsh lighting over every table, I wouldn't recommend going to this restaurant unless you're ok with looking 10 to 20 years older than you really are.
Pizza is the best in the area! Great bar fun place. Service was excellent have been here 4-6 times is always fantastic.
We have been going to Salerno's for a few years now. We love that one opened in Western Springs since we live here. As with any new business opening there are some kinks to be worked out. People go to restaurants that have been around for years and have terrible service! The wait staff here will eventually get a system down. The bartenders are great, especially Natalie. When the owners are in they always make their rounds and say hello. And Will always makes it a point to stop by and see how we are doing. We love the atmosphere and the decor is great. We are willing to continue coming in and will wait for the severs get their routine down. Remember, we all started somewhere! Give them a break...
